Course details

Working in or around hazardous areas requires a clear understanding of the risks and safe practices necessary to prevent serious incidents. This Hazardous Area Awareness course introduces participants to the dangers of explosive or flammable environments, as well as the controls and responsibilities for maintaining safety.

The training focuses on hazard recognition, basic risk management principles, and awareness of relevant legislation and safe work practices. Please note this is an awareness-only program and does not qualify participants to perform hazardous area work.

Learning outcomes
